The benefit of group working and networking opportunities for those that have attended has been advantageous. The training and the associated administration needs have encouraged organisations to develop there capacity and have given a further experience of delivery in the professional world. Our marketing approach has been very effective in reaching faith groups that usually wouldn’t engage in a programme such as this. They are referred to as ‘hard to reach’ groups with which issues around attendance are common place. In their feedback to us 100% of respondents expressed that they were very satisfied or highly satisfied with the training (giving a score of 4 or 5 respectively), the majority expressing that they were highly satisfied. Positive comments have included the quality and usefulness of the resources, activities, trainer and interactive approach to the training. The presence of a CAB officer at all of the training sessions and the advice they have given has been very well received with many participants commenting on the usefulness of this part of the training. Evaluations have also recorded the following outcomes: Increased confidence of participants in offering YP help with money matters, pro-active decisions of participants to offer broader, more practical help with finances, and ideas for new programmes to deliver to young people along with the willingness and enthusiasm to implement them.
